First off hope I am in the right place. I was recently talked into looking at non-working slot machine. I believe it is a 1996 IGT Dazzling Diamond. When you plug in the machine it goes thru some boot up, reels spin, makes noise then stops.
The machine is trying to pay out however many credits were on the meter when someone hit the "Cash Out" or "Cash/Credit" button (depending on the legend insert), and has decided that there aren't any more coins in the hopper since it hasn't seen a coin exit the machine in "x" number of seconds. How can I bypass the main door switch that pushes in and out I have an IGT S Plus Sizzling Seven that takes two coins (quarters). The candlestick wont stop blinking on the bottom indicating that a door is open. The button that goes to the main door (not the sensor) doesn't have any wire hooked to the 4 prongs on the back of it. I don't see any wires that have been cut. After replacing the battery on my motherboard I realized my cash out button was not working. After testing everything and resetting everything I could not figure it out. Then I found the manual that said one way to stop people from hitting the cash out button just pull the switch from the button.
